KYIV. June 23 (Interfax) - Denys Polishchuk, who was detained as part of an inquiry into the murder of Ukrainian journalist Oles Buzyna, has been released from a remand center in Kyiv after bail of over five million hryvni was posted for him.

Polishchuk was greeted by his relatives, supporters and journalists holding flowers and banners, an Interfax correspondent has reported.

It remains unknown who posted the bail.

Andriy Medvedko and Polishchuk, accused of murdering Buzyna, were detained on June 18. Another man was detained later that day on suspicion of helping to organize the killing.
