Oil refinery goes ablaze in Saratov

SARATOV. June 23 (Interfax) - An oil refinery has caught fire in Saratov, spokesperson for the Russian Emergency Situation Ministry's regional department Natalia Karanatova told Interfax on Tuesday.

Several fire brigades have been dispatched to the scene.

No information is available about fatalities, or casualties.

The press service of the Emergency Situations Ministry's Volga regional center said that the fire broke out at 6:30 p.m. in a 2,300 cubic-meter diesel fuel container.
