U.S. embassy in Moscow resumes issue of visas following technical failure
MOSCOW. June 25 (Interfax) - Systems issues that have affected the Department of State's ability to issue visas have been resolved, a report posted on the website of the U.S. Embassy in Russia says.
"Yesterday, nearly 1,800 visas were printed at Embassy in Moscow and scheduled for delivery. In addition, all mail-in applications received since June 9 have been adjudicated. Future in-person applicants can schedule appointments as normal," the report says.
