By denying entry to Duma chairman, Helsinki grossly violates intl obligations - Russian Foreign Ministry source
MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - By denying entry to Russian State Duma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin, Finland has grossly violated its international obligations, a Russian Foreign Ministry source said on Wednesday.
"This is a gross violation [by Finland] of its international obligations," the source said.
"Finland has violated its obligations within the framework of the sanction regime imposed earlier which is unlawful in itself," the source said.
"A country is obliged to allow this or that individual to take part in an international event even if he or she is on a sanction list," the source said.
