DPR to ignore draft amendments to Ukrainian Constitution on de-centralization

MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - Leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) do not intend to take into account amendments to the Ukrainian Constitution on de-centralization submitted by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko because they have not been accorded with Donbas.

"According to Minsk agreements, these amendments being added to the Constitution should have been accorded with us and the [self-proclaimed] Luhansk People's Republic. No one accorded them with us and without our accord this is essentially Poroshenko's complete refusal to follow Minsk agreements," DPR People's Council Speaker Andrei Purgin told Interfax.

Draft amendments to the Ukrainian Constitution on de-centralization will be sent to Verkhovna Rada by the end of the day, Poroshenko said earlier on Wednesday.
