Oil exports via CPC in H1 rise 13% to 21.4 mln tonnes
MOSCOW. July 2 (Interfax) - Oil shipments at the sea terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in January-June 2015 totaled 21.449 million tonnes, which is 12.7% more than in the same period of 2014, CPC data said.
In June, CPC pumped 3.38 million tonnes of oil, which is 14% more than in June 2014 and almost 6% less than the figure for April.
CPC in 2014 increased the pumping of oil by 22% to 40 million tonnes.
As a result of expansion, the capacity of the oil pipeline will be gradually increased to 67 million tonnes.
It is expected that in 2015 the volume of pumping will grow to 45 million tonnes.
The 1,511-kilometer CPC pipeline ties oil fields in western Kazakhstan to the Novorossiisk oil terminal on the Black Sea.
