Iran nuclear deal 90% ready, number of issues have yet to be coordinated - Ryabkov
VIENNA. July 3 (Interfax) - The text of the agreement settling the issue of Iran's nuclear program is 90% ready but a number of significant matters have yet to be coordinated, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov has told Interfax.
"The text is about 90% ready, probably, a bit more than 90%, but that is the volume on paper, the number of characters, the number of lines, the number of paragraphs, sub-sections, the volume rather than the significance of coordinated issues," Ryabkov said.
"I would not take upon to assess the degree of significance of the outstanding issues," he said.
"I have no idea how difficult each of the outstanding issues will be, the progress of its consideration will depend on a combination of factors, even at bilateral negotiations, at the stage when the agreement is only a half step away, it is extremely difficult to draw a conclusion about how much this unresolved issue is significant to the other side," Ryabkov said.
