Russian gas transit nomination via Ukraine up 4%

KYIV. July 3 (Interfax) - Ukrainian gas pipeline operator Ukrtransgaz received a nomination for the transit of 231 million cubic meters of Russian gas for European consumers on July 3, up 4% from July 2 and 8% from the same date last year, the company's spokesman, Maxim Belyavsky, told Interfax.

Gas transit via Ukraine totaled 222.1 mcm on July 2 and 225.3 mcm on July 1.
