Nearly 20 people hurt in defense plant explosion in Azerbaijan - Health Ministry

BAKU. July 6 (Interfax) - Nineteen people were hurt in an explosion at the Defense Ministry's telemechanics plant in the city of Shirvan in central Azerbaijan on Monday.

"Nineteen people hurt in the explosion were taken to the central district hospital in the city of Shirvan," a source in the Azeri Health Ministry told Interfax.

Five medical teams are working at the accident site.
