Lavrov ready to join colleagues in Vienna for final approval of Iran nuclear deal
UFA. July 9 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is expecting to participate in a meeting between the P5+1 group and Iran on the level of foreign ministers for final approval of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear problem.
"Concerning the next contact on the level of foreign ministers, the sextet and Iran, hopefully, it can happen any time with the purpose of final formalization of this agreement. I hope that as soon as my attendance at summit events in Ufa comes to an end I will be ready to join my colleagues any time," Lavrov said at a press briefing in Ufa.
"Hopefully, this will be a truly final meeting where we will be able to give final approval to certain nuances rather than a meeting where some will try to reopen agreements of the previous stage. Alas, our contacts have not been spared such attempts, which do not help but drag us back and delay the achievement of final agreements," he underscored.
