Interior Ministry staff reduced by 110,000 - decree

MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax) - The Russian Interior Ministry staff, not including building security and maintenance staff, has been reduced by 110,000 persons, a decree issued by Russian President Vladimir Putin, which was published on the official legal information portal on Monday, says.

"Set the maximal number of Russia Interior Ministry staff members [not including building security and maintenance staff] financed from federal budget allocations at 1,003,172," the decree, which was signed on Monday, says.

The document amends the presidential decree of May 5, 2014, in which the number of the Interior Ministry staff was 1,113,172. Thus, the Interior Ministry staff has been reduced by 110,000 persons.
