Two Right Sector members who used child as shield to escape are at large near Mukacheve - source

KYIV. July 13 (Interfax) - Law enforcement officials are looking for two Right Sector members who took a 6-year-old child hostage in the Mukacheve district, Transcarpathia region, a source in the Interior Ministry told Interfax. The child was later released.

"Two suspected Right Sector members, armed with guns, took a 6-year-old boy hostage in one of the villages in the Mukacheve district, Transcarpathia region, to prevent a group of Interior Ministry and SBU officials from following them and escaped to the forest, using the child as a shield," the source said.

When the suspects went far enough, they abandoned the boy, the source said.

A search operation for the Right Sector members is now underway.
