Prospects of military cooperation with S. Korea discussed in Moscow

MOSCOW. July 15 (Interfax-AVN) - Military talks between Russian and South Korean representatives were held on Wednesday in the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"At the talks some actual issues of international, regional security, as well as prospects of military cooperation have been discussed," said a statement issued by the press and information service at the Russian Ministry of Defense, which became available to Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.

The ministry also said in the statement that the Korean military delegation was received by the chief of the General Staff of Russian Armed Forces - General Valery Gerasimov.
