Industry Ministry, Roscosmos, Rosatom notified of budget limits for 2016-2018
MOSCOW. July 16 (Interfax) - The budget limits for the next three-year period have been brought to the attention of the Industry and Trade Ministry, Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) and state nuclear corporation Rosatom, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
"The budget is difficult. The Finance Ministry has brought the maximum limits for the period of 2016-2018 to the attention of the Industry and Trade Ministry, Roscosmos, state corporation Rosatom and a number of other related entities," Medvedev said at a meeting on defense spending.
He said that another analysis is needed of what areas require additional funding and what areas can be optimized. "But I stress, not to the detriment of the objectives that the president is setting and that the government must fulfill in this area," Medvedev said.
