Former Ukrainian officials' foreign accounts of millions of euro, dollars, Swiss francs frozen - Kyiv official
KYIV. July 28 (Interfax) - The foreign bank accounts of former high-ranking Ukrainian officials, with a total balance of 9 million euro, $26 million and 85 million Swiss francs, have been frozen, Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin said.
"The funds frozen abroad are 9 million euro, $26 million and 85 million Swiss francs," he said at a briefing at the Prosecutor General's Office on Tuesday.
Ukraine has prevented the illegal allocation and secured the return of 32,700 hectares of land, and got a refund of over 11 billion hryvni, the prosecutor general said.
