Gazprom says it has sufficient funds for all gas pipeline mega-projects
MOSCOW. July 28 (Interfax) - Gazprom has every ability to ensure financing for all planned transnational gas pipeline projects, the Russian gas giant said in a statement.
Gazprom's financial strategy provides the high level of investment strength needed to implement these major projects, the statement says.
Gazprom adheres to a conservative approach to financing capital expenditures, which has enabled it to fully finance project costs out of the cash flow from operations.
In addition, Gazprom retains good abilities to borrow funds on international capital markets on acceptable terms and has a track record of success in utilizing project financing.
Gazprom is currently working on a number of strategically important gas transportation projects: Turkish Stream, Nord Stream II, Power of Siberia and Power of Siberia-2.
