Dmitry Yuryev leaving Agriculture Ministry - source
MOSCOW. July 30 (Interfax) - Deputy Agriculture Minister Dmitry Yuryev, who is in charge of finance and economic issues, is leaving the ministry, a source at the ministry told Interfax.
This will probably happen in August, as Yuryev is currently on vacation, the source said. It is not clear what his new position will be.
Yuryev, who joined the ministry in June 2012, is traditionally considered to be part of the team of Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, with whom he worked at the Kremlin Expert Department. Dvorkovich's brief includes the agribusiness sector.
The source said an understanding on Yuryev's departure was reached when the head of the ministry was replaced.
The agriculture minister can have eight deputies. Since Alexander Tkachev took over as minister, official announcements have been made about the appointment of First Deputy Minister Yevgeny Gromyko, and deputy ministers Sergei Levin, Yelena Astrakhantseva (former deputy head of Dvorkovich's office) and Viktoria Abramchenko.
Members of the previous team who still hold the positions of deputy ministers are Federal Fisheries Agency head Ilya Shestakov, Valery Gayevsky and Alexander Petrikov (state secretary and deputy minister under former Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov).
