Ren-TV camera crew comes under fire at night near Horlivka in Ukraine's Donetsk region
MOSCOW. July 30 (Interfax) - The Ren-TV channel reported that its camera crew came under fire in Donbas.
"Last night Ukrainian artillery was firing at residential districts from heavy arms and tanks in the village of Hliboke and the outskirts of Horlivka. Many houses caught fire from a direct hit. The Ren-TV film crew came under fire among others," the TV channel posted a statement on its website on Thursday.
After a short while the film crew managed to escape the zone under fire, the document said.
According to the information of the TV channel, Ren-TV reporters spent last night in a school basement with a dozen citizens.
Reporters of the crew were not injured in the shooting and will continue to work in the region, the Ren-TV press office told Interfax.
