Russian gas production down 4.9% in Jan-July 2015
MOSCOW. Aug 2 (Interfax) - Russian gas production fell 4.9% year-on-year in January-July 2015 to 356.431 billion cubic meters, the Central Dispatching Department of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEK) said.
The country produced 44.769 bcm in July alone.
The CDU TEK did not present data on the production of OJSC Gazprom in January-July.
One of Russia's largest independent gas producers, during the period under review OJSC Novatek , produced 29.881 bcm (4.209 bcm in July), other oil and gas companies - 260.739 bcm (31.792 bcm) and production-sharing agreement (PSA) operators - 15.346 bcm (1.698 bcm).
Among Russia's vertically integrated oil companies, Rosneft produced 24.326 bcm of gas in January-July (3.436 bcm in July), Lukoil produced 10.944 bcm (1.543 bcm), Surgutneftegas - 5.566 bcm (0.780 bcm), and Gazprom Neft - 7.073 bcm (0.920 bcm in July).
