Ukrainian president vetoes bill on interior bodies
KYIV. Aug 7 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has imposed a veto on the bill On Interior Bodies passed by the Verkhovna Rada on July 2, 2015.
The president made the decision following a conference attended by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov, and Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, the presidential website reported on Friday.
"Some of the issues that were to be regulated by said document are within the government's purview, and others have already been covered by other regulations," it said.
