Last dead body found after hydroplane-helicopter collision over Istra water reservoir - Investigative Committee
MOSCOW. Aug 10 (Interfax) - The ninth dead body was found after last Saturday's air crash over the Istra water reservoir, spokesman of the Russian Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin said.
"The body of a 28-year-old man who was on board the aircraft at the moment of the collision has just been found and lifted to the surface of the water reservoir," Markin told Interfax on Monday.
In the evening on August 8, the Cessna-206 light hydroplane and the Robinson-44 light helicopter collided over the Istra water reservoir in the Moscow region. The hydroplane was carrying five, including two children, the helicopter - four.
As of the situation this morning, rescuers have found and lifted eight dead bodies from the water, all of them have been officially identified.
