LPR claims seven violations of truce by Ukraine over past day
MOSCOW. Aug 18 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Armed Forces breached the truce seven times in the zone of responsibility of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) militia over the past day, the Luhansk Information Center said on Tuesday quoting the militia's information.
It said the village of Zholobok was shelled twice from the Ukrainian side, first by use of small arms and then by use of a BMP-2 armored personnel carrier and an 82mm mortar.
The villages of Zhovte and Nizhne Lozove, the Frunze neighborhood and western outskirts of Pervomaisk came under attack as well.
"There are no casualties amongst the civilian population and servicemen," the LPR militia told reporters.
