Russia discusses possibility of Normandy expert meeting in Berlin in next few days - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Aug 18 (Interfax) - Russia is holding consultations with partners and discussing the possibility of Normandy Group (France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine) experts meeting in Berlin over the next few days to discuss Ukrainian constitutional reform, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"The possibility of expert consultations in the Normandy format, over Ukrainian constitutional reform, being held in Berlin in the next few days is in fact being discussed with partners," the ministry said on Tuesday.

The consultations "will focus on issues directly related to Ukrainian constitutional reform, in the context of implementation of the provisions of the Package of Measures to implement the Minsk agreements of February 12, 2015," the ministry said.

Russia is expected to be represented by the Acting Director of its Foreign Ministry's Legal Department, Alexei Dronov, and its Acting Permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Andrei Rudenko, the ministry said.
