Two Ukrainian servicemen wounded in Donbas

KYIV. Aug 19 (Interfax) - Two Ukrainian servicemen were injured in heavy artillery fire in the towns of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region, the Donetsk region state administration press service said on Wednesday.

"The towns of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka in the Maryinka district were shelled by heavy artillery and small arms over the past day. As of 8 a.m. on August 19, 2015, two servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were injured," the report said.

According to Kyiv, the militia conducted ten attacks on Ukrainian army positions near Mariupol over the past day. Ukrainian army positions were attacked thrice near Shyrokyne, thrice near Chermalyk, twice near Novotroitske, twice near Novosilka and once near Bohdanivka. Army positions came under one attack by the use of 122mm self-propelled artillery weapons overnight. There were no casualties.
