LPR reports four incidents of Ukrainian army's shelling over past day
LUHANSK. Aug 19 (Interfax) - Ukrainian servicemen conducted four attacks in the territory of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic in the past 24 hours, the Luhansk Information Center said on Wednesday, quoting the LPR militia.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces are not honoring the truce. Four ceasefire violations were observed in the zone of responsibility of the LPR people's militia in the period from 6 a.m. on August 18 till 6 a.m. on August 19," the militia told reporters.
The LPR militia claimed Ukrainian attacks on Obozne, Kalynivka and the area of the Prince Ihor Monument near Stanytsia Luhanska by use of 82mm mortars, air defense launchers, grenade launchers and small arms.
"There were neither civilian nor militia casualties," it said.
