Putin, Abdullah II to discuss Jordan NPP, fight against ISIS on Aug 25
MOSCOW. Aug 24 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and King Abdullah II of Jordan, who will pay a working visit to Russia at the invitation of the Russian head of state, will meet on August 25, the Kremlin press service has reported.
"The negotiations will highlight bilateral cooperation issues. Emphasis will be put on progress of primary bilateral projects, including plans to build Jordan's first nuclear power plant," the report said.
The leaders will also exchange opinions on key regional and international affairs, such as measures against the terrorist group ISIS, the settlement of the Syria conflict and the Middle East peace process.
