Russia, UAE agree on joint investment in aluminum production - Kremlin press office

MOSCOW. Aug 24 (Interfax) - Russia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to exchange information concerning the aluminum market and the possibility of joint investment in its production, the Russian president's press service said in a statement.

Under the documents drafted for an August 25 meeting between Vladimir Putin and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Al Nahyan, a working group on the aluminum industry held its first meeting in March 2015.

"It was agreed to exchange information about the situation of the international aluminum market, possible joint investment in aluminum production and the use of a joint infrastructure for the development of bauxite and alumina projects in third countries," the Kremlin press office said.
