VLADIVOSTOK. Aug 25 (Interfax) - A simulated seaborne and airborne troops landing operation is being conducted as part of the Joint Sea-2015 (II) Russian-Chinese maneuvers, the active phase of which was launched in Primorye on August 23.
"The forces have begun practicing a seaborne and airborne troops landing operation. Prior to this, fighter bombers of the People's Republic of China operated over the area. They carried out strikes against an imaginary adversary's positions," Russian Pacific Fleet spokesman Captain 1st Rank Roman Martov told Interfax.
