Iranian Vice President has no information about imminent S-300 deal
ZHUKOVSKY. Aug 25 (Interfax) - Iranian Vice President Sorena Satari has not confirmed the possibility of signing a new S-300 air defense missile system deal with Russia this week.
"I do not have such information. You had better ask the defense minister. I am unaware of the details but I definitely know that everything is going in the right direction," Satari said.
He was answering an Interfax question as to whether the new contract could be signed this week, during a visit of a representative Iranian delegation to Russia.
The MAKS 2015 aerospace show opened on Tuesday, and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin personally demonstrated several exhibits to the Iranian delegation led by Satari.
