Peskov doesn't confirm reports of possible reduction of Russian presidential administration staff
MOSCOW. Aug 31 (Interfax) - Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov currently has no information on a possible staff reduction in the Russian presidential administration and wage cuts within this structure.
"I don't know. It needs to be checked. At least as for the structures I am in charge of, no preparations are being made for a reduction. At least I don't know of it," Peskov said on Monday, responding to a question from Interfax.
Speaking about wage cuts in the Russian presidential administration, the presidential press officer said: "You know there has been a reduction, but if there is another [reduction] it means there will be another [reduction]. But I don't have any information, either."
In mid August, the media reported on a possible staff reduction in the presidential administration and possible wage cuts within this structure.
