Some 122 hospitalized after being injured outside Rada - Ukrainian interior minister
KYIV. Aug 31 (Interfax) - One hundred twenty-two people have been hospitalized after being injured in clashes outside the building of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada on Monday; eleven of them are critical, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has said.
"One hundred twenty-two people are in hospitals after clashes outside Rada, including several people in critical condition, including eleven very critical. In additional two French television journalists has been injured and are now in hospital," Avakov told reporters in Kyiv on Monday.
"Injuries have been caused to soldiers from the National Guard, the Interior Ministry, the State Security Guard Service, the Interior Ministry's special forces, and Kyiv militsiya. Deputy Interior Minister (Vasyl) Paskal suffered a fragmentation injury," the minister added.
