Ukrainian side doesn't fully cease fire in Donbas - Basurin
MOSCOW. Sept 1 (Interfax) - Kyiv is not fully honoring the ceasefire in Donbas despite the agreements reached at the Contact Group, Eduard Basurin, a senior official in the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), told Interfax on Tuesday.
"Things have quieted down on the whole but still there have been violations that were not supposed to happen," Basurin said.
OSCE envoy Martin Sajdik said on August 26 after a meeting of the Contact Group for Ukraine that the negotiating parties had pledged to provide a lasting ceasefire along the entire contact line in Donbas by September 1.
