Unilever names new president in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus
MOSCOW. Sept 1 (Interfax) - Unilever has appointed JV Raman as the group's president in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, the consumer goods multinational said in a press release.
Laurent Kleitman, who has been Unilever president in this region since October 2013, will head the company's global hair care division. He will continue to work at Unilever's headquarters in London.
Raman has worked at Unilever for about 25 years, since 1991. He headed food, tea and ice cream business development at the company's divisions in the UK, India, China, Malaysia and Singapore. For the past five years, he has worked in Vietnam, heading one of Unilever's youngest and fastest growing business divisions.
