TMH has no individual state support programs - CEO

SCHERBINKA. Sept 2 (Interfax) - Transmashholding (TMH) , a major Russian manufacturer of locomotives and railway equipment, does not have any individual programs of state support for the company, CEO Kirill Lipa told Interfax.

"TMH does not have any individual programs. There are programs [of support] in general for transport engineering, and one can't complain - they are fairly regularly considered in almost all government institutions, the government itself, in the presidential administration," Lipa said on the sidelines of a railway show in Scherbinka on Wednesday.

But there are no individual programs for TMH and it is unlikely that there will be, he added.

He said that Russia now has programs to subsidize interest rates, programs to support exports, support investment projects, which also provided for subsidized interest rates, and programs to finance customers of railway equipment makers to purchase locomotives.
