FCS head unsure about possibility of liquidating agency

BEIJING. Sept 3 (Interfax) - The head of the Federal Customs Service Andrei Belyaninov did not confirm the information about the possible abolition of the department and transfer of its functions to the Federal Tax Service or the Federal Security Service.

"I just found out about this right now, it is the first time that I am hearing this. In any case, you know more than I do," Belyaninov told Interfax commenting about media reports on the plans for abolishing the Customs Service and transfer of its functions to other bodies.
