Cost of coal terminal in Vostochny estimated at 24 bln rubles

MOSCOW. Sept 4 (Interfax) - The cost of the new coal terminal at Vostochy port in the Primorye territory is being estimated at 24 billion rubles without account of state investments, Summa board of directors' chairman Ziyavudin Magomedov told journalists on Friday at the Eastern Economic Forum.

"The project is expected to be implemented with Summa's own funds and with project financing [from the Russian Direct Investment Fund]," Magomedov said.

The terminal's capacity will amount to up to 20 million tonnes of coal a year.

The coal terminal at the port is planned to be launched in 2018.
