Russian Econ Ministry not expecting massive jobs cull at Transaero

MOSCOW. Sept 7 (Interfax) - The Russian Economic Development Ministry does not expect a massive jobs cull at Transaero , Yevgeny Yelin, a deputy economic development minister, told reporters.

"Aeroflot definitely won't be making any drastic cuts, we aren't expecting mass layoffs. The extent to which it [Aeroflot] optimizes the headcount [at Transaero] depends on the numerous decisions that it might reach. That's the company's job," Yelin said.
