Ukraine-EU DCFTA bound to replace 'unreliable Russian market' - Poroshenko
KYIV. Sept 8 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko hopes that full-scale operation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) with the European Union will give Ukraine an economic alternative to the Russian market.
"The full-scale functioning of DCFTA with the European Union, which will kick off on January 1, 2016, can help us find a constant economic alternative to the politicized and unreliable Russian market which shut down in an act of political blackmail and as an element of Russia's aggression against our independent state," the president said at an expanded meeting of the national government in Kyiv on Tuesday.
