"Normandy four" experts discuss ceasefire observance, preparations for elections
BERLIN. Sept 12 (Interfax) - Experts of the foreign ministries of the "Normandy format" countries discussed the progress reached by the working subgroups of the Contact Group on Ukraine before the ministerial meeting.
The coordinators of the trilateral contact group discussed the work done by the subgroups of the contact group during a meeting held before the ministerial meeting, a representative of one of the Western delegations told Interfax.
The source said the emphasis was on security issues, extension of the ceasefire regime, the organization of local elections, access of humanitarian organizations, and also economic rebuilding projects.
The "Normandy four" on the situation in Donbas comprises Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France.
