Coal supply from eastern Ukraine resumes - Kyiv info
KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax) - Ihor Martynenko, first deputy energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine, has confirmed the resumption of the supply of energy coal from the military operation zone in Donbas to Ukrainian electrical power plants.
He told reporters on Monday that the amount of coal supplied by rail has not reached the previous levels yet, but he is hoping that the supply will reach maximal levels in the nearest future.
Maxim Timchenko, the head of the holding, earlier said that the coal supply from the DPR had stopped on Thursday.
DTEK was created in 2005 to run the energy assets of SKM Group (Donetsk) controlled by Rinat Akhmetov. DTEK runs the group's enterprises, which make up a vertically integrated coal extraction and enrichment chain, and electrical power production and sale.
