Russia remains key partner of Europe - Ilkka Kanerva
ULAANBAATAR. Sept 16 (Interfax) - OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Ilkka Kanerva said Russia is important to Europe.
After meeting with Russian State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, who leads the Russian delegation at the fall session of the OSCE Parliamentary held in Ulaanbaatar on September 15-18, Kanerva said it is perfectly obvious that Europe needs Russia and Russia is a key partner of Europe.
Kanerva also said that Finland, which he represents, and Russia have always been good friends historically, adding that it is perfectly obvious that Finland will continue to maintain close and good relations with Russia.
