Three Moscow police officers remanded in custody for one month

MOSCOW. Sept 18 (Interfax) - Two Moscow police criminal investigators, Dmitry Alfyorov and Stanislav Maximov, who were arrested yesterday, as well as Sergei Abrosenko from the Moscow Central Police Department have been remanded in custody on suspicion of falsifying evidence and exceeding their authority, the Presnensky District Court has ruled.

"The court ordered that Moscow criminal investigators Dmitry Alfyorov and Stanislav Maximov, who were arrested yesterday, and (Moscow police officer) Sergei Abrosenko should be remanded in on suspicion of falsifying evidence and exceeding their authority," a source told Interfax on Friday.
