LPR schedules elections for November 1

MOSCOW. Sept 21 (Interfax) - Self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) head Igor Plotnitsky has signed a decree on holding local elections on November 1.

"Today I signed a decree on holding first elections of local authorities in the Luhansk People's Republic. Pursuant to this decree, the elections of heads of 14 city and district administrations will take place on November 1, 2015," Plotnitsky said in an official statement posted on the Luhansk information center's website on Monday.
