RZD is keeping forecast for fall in freight by 1.5% in 2015

MOSCOW. Sept 23 (Interfax) - OJSC Russian Railways (RZD) is maintaining its forecast for the fall in freight for 2015, down 1.5%, RZD Vice President Salman Babayev told journalists.

He said that fall in freight in September 2015 in comparison with September 14 is also expected at 1.5%. Freight in 2016, he said, should be level with 2015. "We will plan 2016 at the level of this year. It is impossible to put less. What, are we complete pessimists?" the vice president of the railway monopoly said.

RZD's official forecast for 2015 expected a fall in freight by 1.5%.
