Rosoboronexport has no information about plans to supply BMP-3 to Saudi Arabia, Iraq - press secretary
MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax-AVN) - Rosoboronexport does not have information about the preparing delivery of BMP-3 infantry combat vehicles to Saudi Arabia and Iraq, Rosoboronexport press secretary Vyacheslav Davidenko told Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.
"Rosoboronexport does not possess information about future deliveries of BMP-3 vehicles to Saudi Arabia and Iraq," Davidenko said.
He thus commented on media reports referring to Tractor Plants Concern First Vice-President and co-owner Albert Bakov who said Iraq was going to buy 500 BMP-3 infantry combat vehicles and Saudi Arabia wished to purchase 950 vehicles of the kind.
