Russia ready to provide updates on Syria through diplomatic, military channels - Russian Foreign Ministry
NEW YORK. Sept 30 (Interfax) - Moscow is ready to inform through its Foreign and Defense Ministries about the situation in Syria, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said.
"As I know, the global community has been informed about those steps which we are taking; we, as S. Lavrov said, are not just open, we will provide information about all our steps to all those who are interested in this, who have some questions," she told reporters on Wednesday.
"We are open in the Foreign Ministry to speak about our political actions, intentions, through the Defense Ministry we are ready to inform about what is happening directly regarding a military operation in the struggle against ISIS, which is being carried out at Syria's request," M. Zakharova said.
