Russian Aerospace Forces destroy ISIL command point, ammunition warehouse in al-Latamna - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Oct 2 (Interfax) - The multi-function Sukhoi Su-34 and Su-25 attack planes on Friday delivered strikes at an ISIL command point, shelters and warehouses of terrorists located in the Syrian Hama province, Russian Defense Ministry official Major-General Igor Konashenkov told reporters.

"In the area of al-Latamna, Hama province, Su-24 attack planes bombed the militants' semiburied command point using glide bombs. According to objective control data, the command point and its ground infrastructure were fully destroyed by a direct hit of an air bomb," Konashenkov said.

In the same area, Su-25 planed bombed two shelters where ISIL command points and warehouses were located. One of the bombs caused ammunition to detonate, fully destroying the facility.

"The precision of the Russian planes was achieved by their use in a unified reconnaissance-strike complex," the Russian Defense Ministry official said.
