Pro-govt Social Democratic Party leads in Kyrgyz elections, another five parties make it to parliament besides it - Central Elections Commission
BISHKEK. Oct 4 (Interfax) - Six parties are making it to the Kyrgyz parliament now that 99.25% of the data from polling stations have been processed, the Kyrgyz Central Elections Commission has reported.
The Social Democratic Party leads with 27.08% of the votes. This party was led by Almazbek Atambayev before he was elected president of Kyrgyzstan.
Besides the Social Democratic Party, the following parties make it to the parliament: the opposition party Republic - Ata-Zhurt (20.53%), Kyrgyzstan (12.65%), Onuguu (Development) - Progress" (9.14%), Bir Bol (Be united) (8.37%), and Ata-Meken (7.91%).
