Russia will at least replace oil reserves in 2015 - minister

MOSCOW. Oct 13 (Interfax) - Russian oil companies will at least achieve simple replacement of oil reserves in 2015, Natural Resources Minister Sergei Donskoi told reporters.

"We plan to replace the level of production. Last week the Energy Ministry forecast oil production of 536 million tonnes for the year, if I'm not mistaken. Well, at the very least, there are plans to replace this amount of reserves," Donskoi said.

"In other words, we should achieve simple replacement at least. But what will happen going forward is difficult to say," Donskoi said.

The Natural Resources Ministry said earlier that 430 million tonnes of oil reserves had been added as of mid-September.
