Dutch commission neither refutes nor uses Russian conclusion that Boeing is downed from Kyiv-controlled area - Rosaviatsiya

MOSCOW. Oct 14 (Interfax) - The Dutch commission did not use Russian calculations to identify the place from where the Buk missile that supposedly downed Malaysia Airlines MH17 flight was fired, Rosaviatsiya deputy head Oleg Storchevoi has said.

"Unfortunately, the commission neither refuted our calculations nor used them in its work, which is the reason why the Snizhne area was mentioned. We cannot understand why it was included in the report and claimed to be the correct calculation of the Russian Federation," Storchevoi told reporters on Wednesday.

In his words, the Dutch representatives "simply quoted out of context the information provided at the Almaz-Antey Holding presentation."
